Spiritual Growth Through Energy Healing and Spiritual Healing

What is Spiritual Healing

Wednesday Jan 9, 2008

What is spiritual healing and what does a spiritual healer do. These are the two questions that this article will answer in the most basic terms. This is the first in a series of articles discussing this topic that will lead to an e-book and several instructional videos.

There are many ideas being held on what is spiritual healing. Ideas that portray healing as psychic surgery, falling down and speaking in tongues or laying on of hands to name but a few.

But spiritual healing is much more then the “side show” theater that we are generally used to seeing. It is a deep and fundamental change in how we view ourselves, the world and God. Spiritual healing lifts a person above themselves so that they are able to see everything from a new perspective. Do not be fooled by the theater of “psychic” types, spiritual growth is an intimate and very quiet pursuit.

Spiritual healing shows itself in the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual change in the individual. These changes can be profound and noticeable to everybody or they can be subtle and only felt by the person making the changes. Going from physical sickness to a state of recovery is a part of spiritual awakening. Finding peace in emotional calmness is another aspect of change that is seen as a person goes through the process of spiritual healing.

The most dramatic part of the process is when one is able to have a clearer vision of God and how we relate to God and to each other. This feeling of unity and brotherhood redefines a persons life and their direction in terms of career, interpersonal relationships and spiritual growth.

A healer is a facilitator of this process. A spiritual healer has the ability to “see” the person as a whole greater then the sum of their parts. The healers job is to help remove blocks to an individuals growth.

How a spiritual guide does their job varies from healer to healer. Most accomplished healers have the ability to see the blocks that are causing the problems in the lives of their clients. The blocks can be physical, emotional, mental or spiritual. Through a combination of talking to provide awareness and energy work the client is brought from a state of dis-ease to one of more balance.

A spiritual healer may only see a client once or twice or like a trusted advisor play a part is an individuals life for many years. A healers job is to maintain the growth process for as long as a client want to implement change.

In future articles I will discuss the many roles of a spiritual healer and the many aspects of the healing process.

Spiritual Growth - 2 Killer Words that Stop Growth

Saturday Oct 13, 2007

Spiritual growth is an ongoing process. It is a forward moving process that needs to be encouraged and nurtured. The move forward can easily be stopped or slowed down to such an extent that it seems that there is no movement at all. This article will discuss two of the ways that spiritual growth can be slowed or stopped completely.

It is very easy to understand how someone sees their life by the words they use. Now there are some obvious words that cannot be missed. If you use the word “hate” in most of your sentences then that would be the way your world would be colored. Likewise if you use the word “fear” all the time then we can assume certain things about the way you see the world. However, there are more subtle words that we use and it is those words that we will discuss in this article and there affects on your spiritual growth.

Try - This is one of the most difficult words to eliminate from our vocabulary. It sticks its little head in practically all of the ways we talk about getting things done. We might say “I’ll try and get that done” or “I will try and study” or “I will try and control my anger” or how about “I’ll try and meditate today”. The word try implies failure and weakness. To move along the path of spiritual growth we are looking for feelings of strength and success. Eliminate the word try from your speech. Eliminate the weakness it implies. Live in the strength of doing and completing.

Should - This is one of the most energy sapping words there is in your vocabulary. This word means obligation without desire. It means whatever you are not doing your are failing at. “I should be a better student” or “I should be more considerate” means that whatever you are doing is not good enough. And if you are living in “not good enough” all of the time that will deplete you of any energy you need for your growth. Live in the world of want and desire. “I want to be a good student” or “I desire to be more considerate”. These are expressions that show you the way forward.

I do not want to over burden you with to many words that stop your growth. It is enough to start with these to two major words. Look at your speech. Understand what you are saying and the meaning that you are sending forth into the universe. Speak in a positive and uplifting manner. Eliminate these two highly negative words and watch you world view change.

Moving Toward Perfection

Tuesday Sep 25, 2007

There is much worry about spiritual advancement. How do I do it? Am I moving fast enough? What will it feel like? When we evolve we move in the direction of perfection.

What is perfection?
Perfection is the movement and constant flow towards enlightenment.

How does one become enlightened?
The first step is to realize that we are able and have the ability to change our lives at any given moment, we have the power to choose how we evolve. So the first step is knowing. The second step is to accept responsibility for what we have chosen to change and put the steps to get there on a priority list. I suggest that you only list what you want to see change.

You always have the choices
I don’t know how many times people ask if there is one certain way that things need to be done. I tell them that you always have the choice to pick the way. That is why you see so many people struggling to move forward in their lives. They do not realize it is their action that is needed and so they are waiting for someone to give them the answers. The only real answer to anything is to take action. Once you put the thoughts out there then action is the only way to put things in play.

How long would one need to wait for the results of the action step?
I would say if all steps that you thought out were complete that is when you would see the results. Any idea can be successful if only one would put it to action.

Clear receptivity, clear thought, clear action
Time ultimately is only there to provide us with frame work to complete our ideas. We are here to play with as many ideas that we can come up with or receive from our guides. How do you know if the idea is your own or it was received from a guide? All information is sent on an energetic frequency for all to hear. Those tuned into the frequency at the time will get it. It’s like a radio. If your on another channel when an announcement is made you will miss it. But when you are on a channel and you hear an idea that feels right for you. Act quickly! We are always being fed information on the psychic channels. When you are tuned in think it through and write it down. Decide if this is for you. List steps to implement the idea and then if you want to go for it, get going!!

Just remember
Once you have heard it’s a matter of action to fulfill your desires. Now if you want to know how to implement an idea then you will need to ask and then tune into the channel. You do this by calming yourself, being open and asking precisely for what you want. Be attentive to ways in which you might receive your answers.

As I have said
Perfection is the movement and constant evolution towards enlightenment. We have the ability to change our lives at any given moment and we have the power to choose how we evolve. Take charge and choose your steps carefully and put them into decisive action.
