What is the Aura?

March 1st, 2011 by

The aura means different things to different people. In parapsychology, it is a field of subtle, luminous radiation surrounding a person or object. In spiritual art, it is referred to as halo or aureola. The dictionary defines the aura in three ways. One: as invisible breadth, emanation or radiation. Two: as an intangible quality that seems to surround a person or thing, an atmosphere. Three: as sensation, as of a cold breeze or a bright light, that precedes the onset of certain disorders such as an epileptic seizure or migraine. The auric body be ‘read’ or decoded and can even be healed or ‘cleaned’ if dirty. It is this part of the definition of aura that irks skeptics.

Skeptics see the aura in a different way altogether. They claim that auras may be seen for reasons such as migraines, synesthesia, epilepsy, a disorder within the visual system, a disorder within the brain, or due to the influence of psychedelic drugs such as LSD. Eye fatigue can also produce an aura, sometimes referred to as eye burn. Given this background, this article will discuss aura as it relates to parapsychology and religious art. We will talk about the history of the aura, where the aura is located and what the aura is made of. After reading, you will know more about the aura than most people do.

What is the History of the Aura?

From the beginning of time, people always knew that Auras existed. Some people trace the history to that of Chakras. Christian saints are of course traditionally shown with a halo around the head; the ancient Egyptians did the same for their gods or important human beings as did the Hindus, Buddhists, Greeks and Romans. These beliefs continue right up to the present day. It was however difficult to measure it or prove its existence scientifically. In the early 20th Century, Scientists, Doctors and other people in related fields came together to develop a system that proves that Auras exist. One of the first successes in measuring the Aura can be credited to Nikola Tesla, a very famous and renowned inventor who worked with Thomas Edison to harness AC current in their work with electricity.

This led him to take the first Aura photograph in the 1890s. After Tesla, Soviet scientists; Semyon and Valentina Kirlian produced a method of photographing the Aura called Kirlian photography. As time went on, L Ron Hubbard, the famous author and founder of Scientology had an Aura measuring device built by custom order. Since this was too expensive of an aura reader, Johannes R. Fisslinger used applied knowledge from that device to later use computer technology mixed with tested and true methods of Aura measurement, to put a whole new slant on Aura imaging. Now that we’ve seen how it started and the history of measuring it, let’s see where the Aura is located.

Where is the Aura Located?

The aura is purported to surround human beings. It is generally recognized as having seven layers. It is like a heat haze, shaped like an egg; radiating all around a person shimmering with light and energy. They extend up to four feet from the physical body and all occupy the same space at the same time. It has also been discovered that each human aura extends out further than the previous aura. They are interconnected and reliant on the others for normal function. It extends above the head and below the feet into the ground. Various scientific experiments have been conducted to prove that these assumptions are actually true. Since we now know that they surround the human body, let’s see exactly what they are made of.

What is the Aura Made Of?

Experts, psychics and scientists have all agreed that Auras are made of a field of energy or light. The field of energy is generally divided into two. The cosmic vibratory energy that is omnipresent in the universe; structuring and sustaining all things and the specific energy that sustains each human body. They each perform functions that help to keep us going.

You have seen that Auras are very important to human existence. They have been known to exist thousands of years ago. By knowing where they are located and what they are made of, you can now go on to discover how to use this knowledge of the existence of an Aura to find out more about yourself.

Aura Cameras

March 1st, 2011 by

Aura cameras are used to give individuals a visual display of their bio-energetic state. Based on such biofeedback technologies, the galvanic skin response and skin temperature; aura cameras can measure these physiological inputs and then convert this information into digital displays through a computer interface.

The cameras give an illustration of what your aura should look like. The reason for this is simple. The aura is not a physical thing that can be measured. It can only be observed. Numerous researchers have linked clairvoyance with our galvanic skin response to design special auric cameras that make these illustrations possible. Though they are not real auras, the illustrations give accurate results of our real auras. This is exactly how aura cameras work;

1.      Sensors are placed on the skin of the subject or the person is made to sit on a chair where the skin is brought in contact with the sensor.

2.      These sensors measure the electrical resistance of the skin, also known as galvanic response which varies according to salt and moisture level. The moisture level is influenced by diet, fluid, temperature, health, emotion, mood, activity and so on.

3.      The electrical resistance readings are fed into a small electronic processor that is attached to the camera.

4.       This produces electrical signals that are fed into specially designed cameras. Inside the camera, an optical coloring device creates a variable pattern of colored lights which it beams directly onto a film as the picture is taken. This gives the illusion of a colorful aura surrounding the person as received through the sensor readings.

There are so many colors comprising the energy fields and the dynamic nature of the changing moods, body fluids, emotions etc make it almost impossible for aura cameras to give two identical pictures of the aura of one person at any given time. Aura cameras originated from Kirlian photography. Keep reading to find out more about Kirlian photography.

What is Kirlian Photography?

Kirlian Photography originated from the work started by Tesla in 1891.  It refers to a form of photogram made with voltage. It got its name from its creator; Semyon Kirlian, who in 1939 accidentally discovered that if an object on a photographic plate is connected to a source of voltage an image is produced on the photographic plate. At present, the only technique available to register small fragments of our Aura vibration is Kirlian technology. Kirlian photography is a valuable tool that provides photographs, video, or computer images of energy flow. It is through this technology that aura cameras are based upon. You can use it to

  • Graphically illustrate the effectiveness of health treatments before and after taking Kirlian photos.
  • Visually monitor meridian system activity
  • Observe the energy flow or lack of energy flow between people
  • Make the connection between mind, body, and energy obvious to your clients
  • Observe the Kirlian aura of plants, animals, crystals, foods, and more

These are just some of the uses of a Kirlian aura camera. It is from this that K’ 5irlian cameras got its name.

What are Kirlian Cameras?

Kirlian cameras are devices used for taking pictures of the aura that uses Kirlian photography. It works by sending a painless electric charge into your hand and then captures the image of your aura on a photographic plate. The result can then be used for treatment, guidance, advice, balancing, cleansing and so on.

Do Kirlian Cameras Photograph the Aura?

At present Kirlian cameras can reliably record only the intensity distribution of the Aura. Original Aura color information is not available, but intensity maps of the Aura are usually artificially “colored” to show the “hot” and “cold” spots. The results would then be subsequently interpreted to help you adjust if anything is not in order.

Kirlian photography and aura cameras have come to change the way we treat ailments, relate with people and our general outlook on life.

Aura Healers – Work With Our Energy Fields

March 1st, 2011 by

Aura healers do a lot when working with our energy fields. This is because when they scan our energy fields and identify blockages as accurately as possible, we see almost immediate results when the problem fields are unblocked. This benefits them as much as it benefits us. This article will identify the problems that an aura healer works with, some of the techniques an aura healer uses and the training for aura healers. This will enable you to know more about aura healers and how they work with our subtle energy fields.

What Problems does an Aura Healer Work On?

It has been scientifically proven that our bodies; at the cellular level, uses energy to thrive. Once this energy is not sufficient or lacking, our organs function less and becomes diseased, which makes us ill. Aura healers use intuitive senses to gather information during energy scans and can sense blockages and areas within the energy field that are not functioning properly. They are able to detect diseases in their advanced stages that may require immediate medical attention by a physician.

This happens because the aura is sometimes infected long before physical infection occurs. Aura healers basically work on balancing our aura energy fields so that the resulting aura colors can be brighter and uniform. This brings about physical health, emotional balance and spiritual harmony in our daily lives and relationship with others. Now that you’ve seen the problems aura healers work on, let’s explore the techniques they use in balancing our aura.

What are Some Techniques an Aura Healer Uses?

Many techniques are used to refocus your energy level or aura. Some of them include Aura Awareness, Breathwork, Chakra Balancing, Chi – Ki – Qi, Distant Healing, Grounding, Pranic Healing, Reiki, Vaastu and Yuen Method. Each of this technique has step by step instructions that must be followed in order to achieve the intended purpose. For example, the grounding technique has step by step instructions for aligning yourself to the earth through your root chakra in order to balance your aura.

Another technique that aura healers use is called Auric-Soma. It is a colour and light therapy that works through the colour spectrum and its various frequencies. If we use the colors through the medium of the 107 Aura-Soma Equilibrium Bottles (singular or dual tinted), the wavelength of the colors will synchronize with the body’s many energy fields, similar to the tuning of a radio to a certain station. Since there are many techniques aura healers use which requires experience, let’s try to answer the following question.

Is There Training for Aura Healers?

Since there are specialized training for medical practitioners that take care of the physical body; and religious training for those who take of our spiritual lives; it shows that specialized training for those who take care of our aura energy fields is not out of place. Aura healers can be trained to obtain certificates, diplomas and degree programs in aura healing. You can obtain training online through instructor led courses or offline in institutions in the US and Canada. There are also workshops, seminars and company training for those who prefer not to get a degree or other certifications.

Aura healers play important roles in helping us understand and use our auras positively. We’ve been able see the problems that they solve and we’ve been able to identify some of the techniques used in aura healing. We’ve also seen that aura healers can be trained for aura healing. You can now use this information to enlist the services of  qualified aura healers to help you in healing your aura.
